Kaitlin and Seth are such a fun couple. You can tell from just being around them that they are each other best friends. They know the ins and outs of each other, and when you say, ‘make each other belly laugh!’ they have NO problem getting a good laugh out of each other. Their Maui engagement session was SO much fun. Both Kaitlin and Seth were down for whatever I threw at them. The most fun and adventurous engagement session I’ve had the pleasure of capturing!

I’ve been photographing Kaitlin and Seth’s lives for almost 3 years now.

From couple photos, to maternity photos, to family photos and now to engagement photos. It has been such an honor to be able to capture their lives together. They’ve been with me through so much of my business and personal life. When I say that these two are near and dear to my heart I truly mean it. When Seth proposed to Kaitlin, they came to me and asked me to be their wedding photographer. Of course I said yes, but being one of the first wedding vendors they booked was just so special for me.

They came to me and asked which island they should visit on their vacation to Hawai’i. Me being the biased Maui built girl I am, said Maui of course. We went to Hawai’i together, but on different vacations, when I heard they were going to be on Maui the exact same time I was, I already knew. Maui Engagement Session.

There are so many amazing places to have your session on Maui. I mean the whole island is so photogenic, you could literally stop on the side of the road and get amazing photos! But I wanted something special for these two. We have ‘beaches’ and forests in Washington. What we don’t have is the gorgeous ocean, ruins, leaves and trees that Maui does. When I told them about THE shot that I had in mind, they were so down with it. I bet you can’t guess which shot it is?:P
