Carly & Chris were married at the beautiful outdoor wedding venue, Mountain View Manor in Enumclaw, WA (One of my dream venues!!!). Their wedding theme was rustic with shades of blue and greenery. It’s a classic, timeless combination that I will always get pumped about!

Carly and Chris inquired with me April 26th. A month and some change before their wedding day. It was a quick connection and after becoming official, we were quickly doing their engagement session. These two are already married, but due to the big C, they were unable to have their wedding day until now! 

Like any other Washington day, we were forecasted for rain. Everyone always thinks that rain on a wedding day is bad luck, when in actuality it isn’t! Hear me out, it definitely can be a mood dampener, but that saying goes, that when a knot gets wet, it’s extremely hard to untie. Therefore when you ‘tie the knot’ on a rainy day, your marriage becomes just as hard to unravel as the wet knot!

We waited out the rain in the beautiful bridal suite and grooms quarters, hoping that the rain would cease for an outdoor ceremony. Right around 4:15pm the rain stopped and the clouds opened up, we thought we caught a small break so we quickly got ceremony going before the rain started again. But luckily, that was the last of the rain we saw on Carly & Chris’ wedding day!

Carly & Chris, I wish you nothing but many many more years of happiness and love! Thank you for choosing me last minute to be a part of your wedding day! It means the world to me and I’m grateful to be able to capture something so beautiful!
