In today’s world, finding love can be as simple as a swipe or a click—at least, that’s how it worked for Emily and Matthew! Their love story began on the dating app Hinge, where Matthew, barely 10 minutes into using the app, came across Emily’s profile. Instantly, he hoped she’d respond. Spoiler alert: she did!

A week later, they were laughing and chatting on their first date in Ballard, and within a day, they were watching Raiders of the Lost Ark together. Things moved in the best way possible, and before the month was over, they were officially a couple! It was clear from the start—they had found exactly what they had both been searching for: a relationship filled with fun, joy, and the feeling that they’d met their perfect match!

Both Emily and Matthew describe themselves as a couple of goofballs who just happen to be on the same quirky wavelength. Their offbeat connection has been the foundation of their love, and in their hearts, they always knew that marriage was the natural next step!

Emily & Matthew chose a spot for their engagement session that is near and dear to their heart, the very spot where Matthew proposed to Emily, while they sat together on the park bench, overlooking the gorgeous Puget Sound! The weather called for clouds, but Washington gave us the best weather for the best view! These two were absolute champs, walking through the narrow paths through the bushes, completely trusting me and my crazy, and boy oh boy did it pay off!
