Allison & Jordan's Merry Meadow's Wedding

I’m writing this on my couch, looking over my favorite photos from their wedding day and reliving the beautiful day of Allison & Jordan’s wedding, these two are some of my high school classmates, and getting the chance to see them get married (finally!) was something I”ll always cherish! I got the pleasure of spending May 15th, 2021 with this sweet couple. Allison & Jordan were married at Merry Meadows Farms, a place near and dear to their heart. With beautiful weather, a lavender purple and pink blush rustic theme, great food from Bubba’s Country Que, a beautifully decorated working barn, and an intimate guest list, Allison & Jordan’s wedding was one for the book.

I was lucky enough to get referred to Allison & Jordan from Jordan’s mother. Who had booked me previously for Jordan’s little sister’s senior cap n gown session. So there was history with me and the family! When they inquired with me and we got to do their engagement session, I knew we were meant to work together! Having a small history with the family only made me more excited for their wedding, because that meant I would be able to meet the rest of the family that is the reason for these gorgeous souls! Meeting the whole family was amazing. There wasn’t a second of the day where I felt like I was just a vendor. Whether it was me laughing with the groomsmen, breaking it down on the dance floor with the bridesmaids, or chit-chatting with the parents and grandparents, it felt like I was a part of a family!

It was a clear, sunny day (the best weather for a wedding) and my absolute favorite part from the wedding day was the first look. I’ve always been a sucker for the first look, but this one was special. Allison didn’t want to see Jordan until they both turned around for the first time. Emotions were high, and there were tears shed (even me!!!) but the second they turned around to see each other for the first time, you could feel all the nervousness just slip away. Seeing your future husband or future wife for the first time is such a special moment.
